As global supply chains place increasing emphasis on low-carbon management and ESG-driven sustainability, CIC completed its 2023 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory in 2024, with professional guidance from Chaoyang University of Technology under a program supported by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan. Through the GHG inventory, CIC has gained a clearer understanding of its greenhouse gas emissions and established a solid foundation for future initiatives in energy conservation, process optimization, and carbon reduction. Building on these insights, we are taking further steps toward measurable emissions reduction and continuous improvement.
By conducting GHG inventories on an ongoing annual basis, CIC aims to establish comprehensive and consistent carbon emissions data, enhance energy efficiency and environmental management capabilities, and continuously advance toward its goals of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable operations.
Looking ahead, CIC will continue to leverage the advantages of its integrated, one-stop manufacturing capabilities, progressively strengthening carbon emissions management and energy efficiency across raw materials, production processes, energy use, and manufacturing operations. While maintaining our commitment to quality, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, we will continue to advance sustainable manufacturing practices and enhance our long-term competitiveness.
